AstroRaah AI is a Vedic astrology app developed and operated by Multi Code Genius, Surat, Gujarat, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using AstroRaah AI you agree to this policy.
The short version
We use your birth details and questions only to calculate your readings. We don't sell data, show ads or track you across apps. You can delete your account and data from inside the app at any time.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email (Apple may give a private relay email) and an account identifier from them. If you sign up with email, we store a securely hashed password, never the password itself.
- Birth details and kundlis: the date, time and place of birth (and a name or label) you enter for yourself or others, and the charts calculated from them.
- Questions to the AI Jyotishi: the questions you ask and the answers given, so the conversation can continue.
- Optional phone number: only if you add it in Account. It is for our records only; we do not send SMS or calls.
- App settings: your chosen language.
- Notification token: if you allow notifications, a push token from Firebase Cloud Messaging and your time zone, so we can deliver notifications.
- Token records: the tokens added to and used on your account.
- Technical logs: our servers keep standard logs (such as IP address, device or app type and time of request) for security and to fix problems.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, health data or payment card details, and we do not use advertising or cross-app tracking.
2. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
- To calculate your kundli, dasha, panchang, numerology, yogas and other readings.
- To answer your AI Jyotishi questions and write AI readings based on your chart.
- To send notifications you have allowed (you can turn them off in your phone's settings at any time).
- To prevent abuse (for example daily limits), fix errors and improve the app.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run the app for us, and only what they need:
- OpenAI (AI answers and readings): your question and the calculated chart facts are sent to generate the reply. Requests are made with storage turned off on our side, and OpenAI does not use API data to train its models.
- Google Cloud (servers and database) and Google Firebase (push notifications).
- Google and Apple (only if you choose their sign-in).
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and Multi Code Genius.
4. Shared readings
Some readings (for example the daily rashifal, and life readings for identical birth details) are stored once and reused for everyone with the same rashi or birth details. They contain no name, email or account information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your account, kundlis, chat history, notification tokens and related records are deleted immediately from our live database; copies in encrypted backups are removed within 30 days. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account: in the app, open Account → Delete account. You can also email [email protected] from your registered email address (see Delete account).
- Access or correct: you can see and edit your details and kundlis in the app, or ask us by email.
- Notifications: turn them off any time in your phone's settings.
- Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to [email protected].
7. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children
AstroRaah AI is meant for users aged 18 and above. Users under 18 may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be shown in the app.
